$1500 room for rent in Germantown DC Metro

The master bedroom is approximately 10x16 with 2 finished closets, smaller rooms each size up to about 8x10each with their own closet.

$1500 is rent for the entire space plus one half of the utilities. This rate is based on .

Utilities per person:
Internet: $40
Cable: $50. If you wish to have it in your bedroom, installation is $150 & includes the DVR box
Electric ranges between $100-$150 per person & changes monthly based on the usage
Water is a set rate of $30/month

There is a fully stocked kitchen with PLENTY of pantry space as well as space for your own appliances if you wish to bring them along. Theres a coffee pot, a grinder, a tea pot, & other appliances needed for the daily living.
In the living room there is plenty of sitting space consisting of a leather 3-person couch, a swirly chair, & 2 wingback chairs in the reading corner. Theres also a large TV.

We will both live by:
If you open it, close it.
If you turn it on, turn it off.
If you unlock it, lock it up.
If you break it, admit it.
If you cant fix it, call in someone who can.
If you borrow it, return it.
If you value it, take care of it.
If you make a mess, clean it up.
If you move it, put it back.
If it belongs to someone else, get permission to use it.
If you dont know how to operate it, leave it alone.

My dog is lovely. She doesnt bite but she does bark at everyone who comes through the front door, including me. Shes super territorial & growls like shes going to actually do something but shes a chicken shit with a loud growl. (She ONLY growls when you enter her bedroom.) She also sheds A LOT. Terribly so. She cant help it & I brush her a lot to keep it at minimum. Also she has free roaming of the entire house but she doesnt go to the top floor unless Im taking a shower & then shell sit outside of the bathroom door & wait for me.

This is an ideal situation for a single parent with every other weekend custody of their kids. I dont mind children, just not every day in my house. While your rent & utilities will be slightly higher if this is the case, it is a safe environment for your children. This is also an ideal situation for somebody who needs the extra space for an office or more. If you dont need all 3 rooms, make one storage, youre paying rent, whatever works for you. This is NOT an ideal situation for a college age kid. I dont have the patience to be your mother & go around cleaning up after you or teaching you how to be a decent roommate in your first living situation. I dont have children for a reason & I do not wish to be a mother to grown children. Im not old enough & I will not put up with it. If you dont fit into that category as a college age person, youll have the references to say as much. ALL applicants must have employment as well as come with at least 2 references. Those without rental history are subject to a background check.

The house is just around the corner (a mile & change) from Milestone Shopping Center, Neelseville Village Shopping Center, & the new Wegmans shopping area. Were right off of major bus lines, a 1.5 mile walk to Montgomery College, 1.5 miles to the highway (I-270), 9 miles to Shady Grove Metro station, close to Holy Cross Hospital & Shady Grove Emergency, & around the corner from 355.
