ENTERTEINEMT: Even Humaita is a lively place and well located (between the foot of Corcovado Mountain and five min walk to Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, Botafogo and Jardim Botanico ---citys world-famous Botanical Garden ) It is not consider a tourist area as are Copacabana Ipanema so the area is not overcrowded and consider much safer for tourists.
Annually between the months of February and March there are some of most popular Rio de Janeiros funny carnaval blocs parades through the streets of Humaita.
