You should definitely visit the beautiful beaches such as Vatera,Petra beach,Skala Eressou,Skala Kalonis,Agios Isidoros,Agios Stefanos,Anaxos,Anaxos Ampelia,Eftalou and Kagia.Sun beds, umbrellas and sea sports facilities are available in many of those beaches, particularly in the touristy beach resorts. Deserted beaches can also be found.
Villages on the island remain untouched by tourism and keep their traditional style.
If you want to explore the whole island you should definitely rent a car.
