About one year ago we ( my dad 63, my responsible 54 and I 30) moved to a nice village, named Ghalat, near Shiraz. Its about 25-30 km far from the central of Shiraz. This village has beautiful nature including waterfall, mountain, river and traditional houses. If you come Shiraz I propose you to stay at least one night here for relaxation.
Our house has two floors, you will be stay in the suite that has kitchen, big bathroom with new shower and the nice view of garden and nature.
If you like to stay in my place but worried about the distance between my house and center of the city, dont worry ;) there is a bus stop near our house and if you want to go by taxi my dad can bring you wherever you want with less fare than taxis catch you.
If you are interested in cooking I can teach you at least one ( depends on my free time at that time) traditional Iranian food ;)
