There are many walking and hiking trails. There is a swimming pool in June, July and August, shared by two cottages.

There are water sports and golf in the port one hour away. The cities of Granada, Malaga and Almeria are within one and a half and three hours by car. There are ferries from Almeria port for those who want to explore Morocco.

The protected National Beach Park of Cabo de Gata is one and a half hours by car.

There are many other interesting places to visit, including a Troglodyte village across the Sierra Nevada on the way to Granada. More information is available in the cottage.
