The room for rent is located on the third floor of the house and includes a full-size bath suite and closet. The house would be shared with a roommate in her mid 20s who lives on the first floor.

The room for rent is furnished, but can be available unfurnished as well. The rest of the house is fully furnished and includes GE stainless steel appliances (double oven, stove, dishwasher, and refrigerator), hardwood floors, high ceilings, and a Kenmore washer and dryer set.

My home is located in the Parkside neighborhood, which is part of a million development plan that is 30% complete. It is 1 block away from the Anacostia Riverwalk Trail, a 10 min walk from the Minnesota Avenue metro station, and less than 5 min from the Aquatic Gardens. This is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood.

I am looking for someone prepared to commit to a 12-month lease starting on 10/15/2020. The rent price is per month (plus a deposit) and includes all utilities, internet, cable, gas, security system with keyless entry, and monthly cleaning service. Free street parking is also available. A two-year lease agreement is also an option for a discount on the monthly rent.
