$550/month for plus a share of the utilities (anywhere between $70-100 per month, depending on the time of year).

We are looking for someone who is looking to live in community (7+ people), and has a cooperative spirit. We value private space/time as well, but were ideally looking for someone who wouldnt just be locked up in their room all day and not interact with others or never be present. We are a pretty big/lively household on 2 beautiful acres- so plenty of nice outdoor space as well!

You must not only be able to pick up after yourself but also do your share of house chores, and go a little above and beyond to keep the space nice for other roommates, we dont have a house keeper and like to keep the communal areas clean and free of clutter.

-We have a monthly house meeting where we all check in with one another, plan what we need to do, clean together etc.
-We each put in $10 a month into a "House Fund" which buys household things we all share like dish soap, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, paper towels etc. We keep track of spending so its very transparent.
-We have a wood stove to save on heat since its such a huge house. Chopping, bringing in wood and keeping the fire going is a constant chore we all have to pitch in with.

We enjoy gardening and growing food, harvesting and cooking together, herbalism, foraging, among many other things...

We firmly believe that black lives matter, that everyone deserves equal rights, and that no one should be discriminated against because of the color of their skin, sexual orientation, gender, religion, nationality etc. Essentially, we are earth-loving, justice-seeking hippies and are looking for other like-minded folks whod like to live in a more communal way.
