The Cozy Nest Cottages are a small group of vintage cottages located across the street from the Niantic River in East Lyme, Connecticut. The cottages are secluded, on a dead end street, and border the Oswegatchie Hills, one of the last stretches of pristine woods on the Connecticut coastline. There is no beach at this location, but there is a small boat launch that is great for kayaks and canoes.
Our location is quiet and private, yet convenient to I-95 and to the areas many attractions. East Lyme is a lively, vibrant area of the Connecticut shoreline with lots to do. Picturesque downtown Niantic, complete with shops and a movie theater just a few miles down the road. Great restaurants, beaches, parks, activities for kids, and cultural attractions abound. We have owned the cottages since 2004 and live on-site. We have been steadily improving and updating them. Unlike most rental properties we are licensed and inspected annually by the town of East Lyme.
These simple yet charming cottages offer a rare commodity: affordable summer stays in Southeastern Connecticut.

Cottage Six is perched atop a path of stone steps. It consists of an open studio-style space of about 300 square feet with a kitchen and dining area, full bathroom with shower, queen bed, a small loft, a couch and a deck. Cottage Six sleeps two.
